To celebrate Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s 170th birthday, Google is sporting a ballet doodle provided by San Francisco Ballet.
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky also called Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky (May 7, 1840 – November 6, 1893) was a Russian composer. He wrote some of the most popular concert and theatrical music in the current classical repertoire, including the ballets Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker.
For additional information,in the book, Tchaikovsky: The Quest for the Inner Man, Poznansky showed that Tchaikovsky had homosexual tendencies and that some of the composer’s closest relationships were with persons of the same sex. The composer’s servant and nephew have been speculated as possible romantic interests.
