Dutch artist and designer Daan Roosegaarde has created a beautiful and innovative glowing bike path that, when illuminated at night by glowing pebbles and LEDs, looks like Van Gogh’s famous Starry Night painting.

Located in Brahant where Van Gogh was born and raised, this kilometer-long bike path was created using both glow-in-the-dark technology and solar-power LEDs. At night, this makes for a lightly illuminated path that helps pedestrians and bicyclists follow the path.

Hope that more and more artists will follow suit.
