Latte art is a trend that has been become popular several ago.



It is a style of pouring steamed milk into a shot of espresso that creates a pattern or design on the surface of the resulting latte. Coffee foam art requires great skills since this particular art is difficult to create consistently due to the demanding conditions required of both the espresso shot and milk.


Latte art was developed independently in different countries, following the introduction of espresso.


Today there are few international Latte Art contests where best artists (each of them is called “barista”) demonstrate their creativity and original performance.
