Supermodel Naomi Campbell has been drawn in leather in an artwork by a Welsh artist.
Mark Evans – who captures the rich and famous in huge portraits etched into leather canvases – teamed up with the model for her Fashion for Relief 2010 event on February 18.
Mark used his steady hands to create ‘Skin Deep’ – a portrait of Naomi based on a picture by acclaimed photographer Michael Thompson.
“I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has generously donated their time and effort to make Fashion for Relief happen,” said the catwalk diva.
The stunning piece was auctioned off to bidders and helped to raise £1.4m for the White Ribbon Alliance.
Artist Mark has captured some of the world’s most famous faces by scraping impressions of them into leather hides.
