Just a Sad Thought

My brother just got married and he’s living with his wife next door. And I guess I’m still not used with the thought that after the day he got married, hell be going home to his wife.. not to us like it used to be.

It’s lunch time but he’s not with us on the table when we eat because of course he now has a wife to dine with. I guess I’m just not really used to it. And I know only time can ease this sadness.

Am I being selfish again?? But I’m also the type of person who easily get sad.

Anyway, the memories of our childhood flashed back on my mind and I happen to find these pictures:

I remember we used to quarrel a lot during our childhood. He always makes me cry. My mom bought us water guns back then. I didn’t like it. I like dolls more but I played water gun with my brother. It was always me ending up a loser since it was a boy toy. He never play doll with me though. So unfair.

It’s really nice to recall those childhood memories. I hope we can be children again and play together then quarrel. We always give our mom a headache. She would spank us then make us sleep. We hate sleeping after lunch especially if we hear other children playing outside but our mom is so strict she would lay down with us to really make us sleep.

Back then I would marvel on how our mom would know we’re only pretending to sleep when our eyes were shut. But when I was growing up, I realized that you would know if a child is pretending to sleep if eyes were closed but the eyelid is moving.

Haha.. Silly me.
