Hoping that someday, the right guy would sing this beautiful lyrics to me.. but until that day, maybe all I can do is to learn to get hold of my emotions..

I used to pride myself as the rational girl but I was wrong. I guess I’m just like any other girl after all but that’s okay. I like myself better now..

Yesterday, I went home after hearing my mom cried over the phone. When I got home, she told me what happened. My mom is a very emotional woman. She can’t help sobbing while narrating to me what had happened. I tried holding up my tears but in the middle of her story I broke down in tears also. I hate seeing her cry.

Then she said that she’s been hurt by what happened and threatens to leave us. I can’t stand the thought of her leaving us. I grew up and she’s always been there. I almost thought that my mom is forever and the mere thought of not seeing her is really scary.

She told me that she has somewhat voiced out the same sentiment to my father and according to her my dad do not want to stay and look after us, he wanted to go with her wherever she might go. That heightens the sadness.

I know that they have been loving each other more as they grow older. I like the thought of my dad not wanting to part from my mom but I do not want them to leave us either. I always thought that my dad is so lucky to have my mom. She’s the most caring, compassionate, and selfless person I know in the world. But now I realized that my dad loves my mom also. Maybe he’s not just being transparent about his feelings all these years but I know he also loves my mom so much. I never knew of any woman linked to my dad. He never left the house to go to some bar or whatever places guys would usually hang out.

I don’t know how exactly my mom and dad fell in love with each other but my mom told me once that she had been through a lot just to be with my dad.

The video I embedded above just made me remember my parents. They are growing old now but I’ve been witnessing that they are becoming closer and closer to each other. I love you both.

Before I go to the ‘raining’ part of this post, let me tell you first about our actual performance during the company anniversary. We played Canon in D while people are settling down on their assigned tables. Our colleagues commented that they liked it. Some even said they thought it was a mp3 playing so they were surprised to see us playing. It’s really nice to hear such remarks. It made me want to really practice more to improve my skill in playing the instrument. Next we played ‘Hiling’ by Silent Sanctuary. Marc and I were not aware that the microphone for our violins are busted. We did not check it before playing the song, we just assumed it was working. So during the entire ‘Hiling’ performance, you can faintly hear our violins. But I guess it was ok. And oh by the way, before I forgot, our group was called ‘Capriccioso’, I hope I spelled it right. The name was Marc’s idea. He got it after watching ‘Nodame Cantabile’. Marc is the other violinist in the group and Ian is the vocalist and the guitar guy.

It just rained. I’m not expecting it so imagine my excitement after finding out it was raining. I almost feel like a child again who wants to rush and dance in the rain. Amazingly it cools the usual hot summer afternoon. It even made me feel sleepy. As I went to the kitchen to make coffee, I caught a glimpse of my violin in the corner. Then I suddenly missed playing it. It may sound silly but I feel bad for not playing it for a while. I want to play again and be good at it.

I know for the coming months I’ll be busy as crazy and my going-back-to-school is fast approaching. I just hope I could still find time for my dear Marcus. I guess that’s it for this post . My violin is anxiously waiting for me.

I’ve been liking this local band, Silent Sanctuary, for a while. Recently I bought their very first album, Fuchsiang Pag-Ibig, and I love almost all of the songs on in.

One of my favorite is ‘Kundiman’. Love the lyrics and the melody. So sweet.
