In the Twilight Saga: New Moon, which opens in theatre on this November, it is Lautner who seizes the spotlight.
He portrays American warewolf Jacob Black, Bella Swan’s protector when Edward cullen leaves her to go to Italy.
“We have fans all the time that will just burst into tears, it’s just moving,” he said. “It must mean so much for them to meet us, and it’s an amazing feeling to know that you can touch someone in that way.”
Before “Twilight”, Lautner is known for his role in 2005 children’s film “The Adventure of Sharkboy and Lavagirl”. In the first installment of the Twilight Saga, he play a relatively small role as Swan’s childhood friend.
