Got these so called “skin commandments” from Yahoo and decided to post them here.
Commandment 1: You will not touch your face. You get bacteria on your skin that way, which leads to clogged pores.
Commandment 2: You will wear sunscreen, even on cloudy days. It’s the best protection against aging there is.
Commandment 3: You will eat your antioxidants. They’re good for you inside and out, people, and they make your skin glow. So down the veggies. Make your mom happy.
Commandment 4: You will remove your makeup before bed, no matter what. I know some of you don’t always wash, but your skin really needs the break overnight. Plus, over time, your makeup can mix with the oil and dirt on your face and lead to breakouts.
Commandment 5: You will look into some sort of microdermabrasion, whether it be from a dermatologist, a nice scrub or a session with your Clarisonic. You know how men don’t age as quickly from the nose down? That’s because shaving is a form of dermabrasion. It ultimately helps that whole wrinkle thing slow down.
Commandment 6: You will look into a good eye cream. These lightweight products help treat fine lines and often contain SPF to prevent free radicals from doing more damage.
Commandment 7: You will wash your face, neck and back immediately after exercise. Anyone who experiences post-work-out breakouts knows how key this is.
Commandment 8: You will wash your back and chest thoroughly after you rinse out your conditioner. It could be causing your body acne.
