Ten people has been killed already after a devastating tornado ravaged Mississippi causing wreck to homes and businesses in the state.
At least 20 houses, a church and several businesses were damaged or destroyed and several people injured in Yazoo City Saturday afternoon, emergency officials said.
Greg Flynn, Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) spokesman said that officials in Warren, Yazoo and Holmes counties were conducting a “massive response.” He did not immediately have information on injuries, but said the damage is extensive.
The tornado touched down in Valley Park, Yazoo City and Durant, according to the National Weather Service. It started in Omega, La., and ended east of Starkville.
