Blood-thirsty drama True Blood welcomes another sexy temptation to stir things up even more.

Ashley Jones is set to make her debut in the second series of the popular vampire drama.

She is introduced in the opening episode as the new but terrible waitress at the fictional southern town’s diner but things are not all they seem with her.

Ashley plays Daphne Landy, who starts at Merlotte’s diner – the epicenter of supernatural vampires – to replace psychic waitress and lead character Soukie Stackhouse, played by Anna Paquin.

She recently had her photos taken for men’s magazine FHM. Speaking to FHM, she said: “When I was a teenager my parents made me take a part-time job at the local Black Eyed Pea which was a home-cooked food, family restaurant.

“I really wasn’t very good at all and didn’t last too long. Honestly, some of the plate dropping you see in the show wasn’t planned, I had real trouble balancing them.”

True Blood has become a worldwide hit having been exported to more than 70 countries.
