December 1 is World AIDS day and from its usual blue theme Twitter is turning red to support today’s event.
JoinRED has been working with Twitter and some things on this micro-blogging service will turn red for the day including its homepage.
World AIDS day, which started on December 1988, aims to raise money, increase awareness, fight prejudice and improve education. It is important in reminding people that HIV has not gone away, and that there are many things still to be done.
